Social Skills Presentations for Parents/Guardians of Kindergarten-Grade 3 -Tonight

This month we are focusing on social skills and strategies, resources and development of our Kindergarten to Grade 3 students. Scientists & Innovators in Schools

Mrs. Reed's class had a guest speaker from Science World this week. Her class is learning about computer programming using block code for an Applied Design, Skills, and Technology project. The Science World presentation was the launch for their projects. They learned first-hand the importance of clear, complete instructions when coding because computers will only do what they're told. It was a fun filled, hands on presentation. Students wrote instructions for making peanut butter and jam sandwiches and then had to follow them. YUMMY!!
