Our students have been working hard creating beautiful and unique art pieces to proudly display in our hallways. We hope you enjoyed seeing their pieces at the student led conferences on Wednesday.

Students took on a skipping challenge and really racked up a large number of skips in PHE last week!

Howesound Secondary's Music Theatre Production Class will be performing their production of High School Musical 2 at Mamquam on April 16th.
For those interested in attending their full production at the Eagle Eye Theatre they have show nights May 1,2,3 and 8,9,10. Tickets can be purchased at the eventbrite link in the "read more" section.

Congratulations to our Mamquam Grade 5/6 Basketball Team at last weeks tournament held at Don Ross Middle School! We are so proud of your determination, efforts and team work!

Congratulations to the winners of the school Reading Link Challenge the “Pink Fluffy Penguins”, there was stiff competition with the Penguins winning by only one point. The Pink Fluffy Penguins will advance to compete against all the other elementary schools in Squamish at the Eagle Eye Theatre in April. Congratulations to all students who participated in the challenge!

Mrs. Yates class created a whole school kindness project to spread joy to students during long recess. Each morning, they went to the forest to hide small and large gold rocks. At long recess, students looked for Last Friday and today, they will draw names for prizes.

As Spring Break approaches, we want to share a friendly reminder from Vancouver Coastal Health about keeping your family's vaccinations up to date. With travel plans ahead, it’s a good time to check immunization records and ensure everyone is protected. The attached memo provides helpful information on measles and pertussis (whooping cough), along with resources for booking vaccinations if needed. Wishing you all a wonderful and restful Spring Break!

Students in Grade 6 moving on to Don Ross Middle School will automatically be enrolled, if your child will not be attending Don Ross Middle School please let Jenny know at [email protected].
