The Festival of Lights was a great success! The Mamquam community connection was felt as we lit up the night with our lanterns and music.

The chocolates have arrived early. If you would like to pick up early, please email [email protected]. Pick up will still be on December 15 from 2-3:30 outside of the school. Thank you very much for your support!

This year, the Leadership students put on games in the gym to help raise donations for Community Christmas Care. Click on the link to watch the video to see all the fun the students had!

Thank you Mamquam Families for all the new toys, gift cards and cash donations for the Community Christmas Care. We raised over $1000!

The Kids Gift Shop was a huge success. Thank you for all the donations and we hope everyone enjoys their special gifts from your children!

Mamquam’s Christmas Craft Fair is tomorrow! Join us from 11am -3pm for some holiday shopping and get in the festive spirit! We are still in need of some volunteers. Please email Minna at [email protected] if you can help out tomorrow.

Mrs. O’Neill and Mrs. Lock’s class did the STEM Snowperson Challenge in the library this week. In teams, they had to work together to create a freestanding snowperson with limited time and materials. The teams all came up with some great creations. We are finding that these STEM challenges are a great way to get students to fine tune their teamwork skills and learn about the design process. Reading Link Challenge Books are in!

This year’s Reading Link Challenge books are in and they are awesome! We had our first Reading Link Challenge meeting on Wednesday in the library and the students were super excited to get their hands on the new books. The Reading Link Challenge is a fun filled reading competition that is open to all levels of readers from grades 4 and up. Students have until March to read as many of the books as they can, then at the competition in March they answer questions about the book in teams while they compete for the trophy. Students can join anytime, any interested students can check out the books in the library. Feel free to contact Mrs. Kranz if you have any questions.

Plant pick up is on Friday November 26th
