Mrs. Lock's and Mrs. O'Neill's class have been learning about the salmon life cycle. Today they released the salmon fry into the Mamquam Spawning Channels behind the Squamish Valley Golf Course.

We all had such a wonderful time creating an original song with Hayley from Texada Music! She was such a fun, positive and creative addition to our Mamquam Community. We will miss you Hayley. Stay tuned for our song!

We welcomed back Papa Josh this week. He will be teaching us guitar and drumming until May 25th!

The K/1 classes have been learning about the life cycle and have watched duck eggs hatch into ducklings and ladybug eggs become ladybugs!

Coach Charlie from Squamish Youth Soccer was here all week teaching us some soccer skills.

Children of the Streets will be presenting a hybrid talk on how to prevent and protect children from online exploitation and extortion. The presentation will be geared towards parents of children aged 10 and up.

Inviting Squamish area new Grade 7s for the 2023/2024 school year and their families to the "Welcome to Middle School" open house event at Don Ross Middle School on Wednesday, May 17th, from 4 - 5:30 pm. Come tour the school, meet the staff, check out the available clubs and eat some snacks!

Join Squamish CAN for their Annual Plant Sale!
Get your spring garden started with a variety of veggies, herbs, flowers and pollinators.
We have over 2500 plants on sale this year, with all proceeds going back into supporting our community programs.
This year's event will take place at our downtown farm location beside Howe Sound Secondary School on Buckley Ave.
We ask that you bring a tray or basket to carry your plants.
Please note while we love our furry friends they are not allowed inside the farm grounds.
We can't wait to see you there!
