Squamish Multifaith Association and Squamish Nation Valley Elders are inviting the community to a Multicultural Celebration at Totem Hall. This annual event is solely contributed to by local community members – food, performances, cultural sharing through crafts and dance and more! This day will be a great opportunity for everyone to connect, share, appreciate, embrace and foster diversity and inclusion in our community. An afternoon of International music, food and more!

We all enjoyed Literacy Week this week at Mamquam. Thank you for all of the family participation in the home literacy bingo. We enjoyed hearing about some of our staff's favorite books during the morning announcements. On Wednesday at 9:10am the whole school "dropped everything and read", even in PE the students came prepared with a book to read!

One of our students, Road, from Ms. O'Neill's class was the first one to complete our new custom raven puzzle! The puzzle was created using an image of our Raven carving by Art Harry. Way to go Road!

We are looking for some Volunteers to help with picking up our Mamquam School Lunches from Helping Hands downtown on Mondays and Tuesdays beginning at the end of February. These lunches are available to all students that may need a little more to eat. If you are available to volunteer please email Jenny at [email protected]

School District No.48 (SD48) is welcoming new registrations for the upcoming 2024/25 school year starting January 23, 2024, at 8:00 am.

Grade 6 students have been very excited about selecting their hoody colour choices for their "Class of 2024" hoody to commemorate their final year at Mamquam Elementary.
