As we gearing up for the kids gift shop next Friday, December 8, please remember to go around your house and collect any donations that you have for this event. We are still in need of everything for all members of your family, and please do not limit any number to what you are donating.

Please take a look around this weekend for all sorts of things you no longer need or want but that someone else might like or could still use.

Ideas are:
books, puzzles, games, toys, stuffies
jewelry, toques, scarves, gloves, clothing vases, kitchen utensils, jars, candles, mugs sporting goods, bags/backpacks journals,

Especially things for Men:
books, clothing, flashlights, wallet, hats, mugs, belts, toques, scarves, gloves

Christmas decorations go far and are a great gift item.

Join us in watching a video by Dr. Duncan, who will dispel the many myths surrounding ADHD by presenting up to date scientific facts about cause, prevalence, diagnosis and treatment. He will explain how and why the ADHD brain works the way it does.

Come together with other families to watch this video presentation and stay for a facilitated discussion by a FamilySmart Parent Peer Support Worker.

This week the students in Division Three volunteered their time to create two cakes for the cake walk. Students worked together to design, bake and decorate two cakes for The Mamquam Christmas Craft Fair. We hope to see our families at the cake walk tonight!

On November 11, Canadians pause in a moment of remembrance to honour the courage and sacrifice of all veterans who have served our country. Today, November 10, ceremonies were hosted at schools across the district to commemorate the Day.

Today we held our annual Remembrance Day Ceremony. We had 10 students lead the assembly and we were very proud of all of their dedication as well as the whole schools listening to learn, observe and respect.
