Our intermediate students have been learning about levels of government and the election process. Today they had an opportunity to cast their ballets for the student vote.

Our first PAC meeting of the year will be held on Tuesday, October 22 at 7:00pm in the school library. Please come join us and see what PAC is all about! We are also looking to fill the Co-Chair and fundraising coordinator positions at this meeting in order to complete our PAC Executive. On October 17 at 10:17 am, Sea to Sky School District will participate in the Great British Columbia ShakeOut, an annual drill organized by the BC Earthquake Alliance. This is a chance for students and staff to practice earthquake safety measures like “Drop, Cover, and Hold On.”It’s also a great time to review emergency plans and secure spaces to reduce risks. Congratulations to our Mamquam Cross Country Running Team for their efforts in the first race of the season at Spring Creek Elementary last Tuesday October 1st. The next race is at Signal Hill Elementary on October 10th. Cross Country is open to students from grade 3-6. If your child has not signed up and is interested they can connect with Ms. O'Neill or Ms. Lock at school.
