October 2024 and 2025 Non-Instructional Day Date Change

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Due to a provincial change in dates for the October Non-Instructional days for the next two school years (2024-2025 and 2025-2026) the Board of Education has approved a change to the October Non-Instructional days for those two years. The October Non-Instructional day is a common day for all BC school districts and those dates are set provincially. Please note that for the 2024-2025 school year, the date is changed from October 18 to October 25. For the 2025-2026 school year, the date is changed from October 17 to October 24. All school and district calendars will be updated to reflect this change. Please let me know if you have any questions.
