We are so proud to have been a part of MUSIC MONDAY, singing with Canadian Astronaut and Commander of the International Space Station, Chris Hadfield.  Our school of 300 students, staff and MANY family members watched the live feed from the International Space Station and we sang along with him (and over 500,00 other Canadians!)   Many teary eyes in the crowd as this special event took place and the words of the song moved everyone!   There were a few technical glitches, but hey – it was coming from space!!

The song is “I.S.S. (Is Somebody Singing?)” and was co-written by Chris Hadfield and Ed Robertson of the Barenaked Ladies.

Thank you Chris, for this special experience for us  – we are ‘over the moon’ to have been a part of this cross-Canada event!!
